The Mitsubishi Mirage, Mirage G4, and Eclipse Cross remain some of the most popular vehicles in the growing Mitsubishi lineup. Still, Mitsubishi is always looking for ways to improve upon its most popular models. That’s why all three of these Mitsubishi vehicles will be undergoing a handful of changes for the 2020 model year.
The Mitsubishi Mirage will undergo the fewest amount of changes for the 2020 model year. Yet, that doesn’t mean that a few changes aren’t on the way. Automatic climate control will now come standard feature on all Mirage models, a welcome change for Mitsubishi drivers in hotter climates. Indeed, this is a first-time standard feature for a vehicle in the Mirage’s segment.
The Mirage G4 will also receive standard automatic climate control for all of its trim levels. Unfortunately, the Mirage G4 will be losing its ES package for the 2020 model year. On the other hand, Mitsubishi is replacing that package with a new LE package. Finally, the Mirage G4 will receive an upgraded grille design.
The newest vehicle in the Mitsubishi lineup will also be receiving the most changes. The Eclipse Cross will see the addition of new 2WD trims with Active Yaw Control for the SE, LE, and SEL trim levels. Furthermore, the SE trim level will receive new available features, such as roof rails and a panoramic sunroof. Finally, the Eclipse Cross is experiencing some upgrades for the standard safety lineup of its SE and SEL trims, including the introduction of the Lane Departure Warning, Automatic High Beams, and Forward Collision Mitigation technologies.
